small chirps coming from inside the eggs. This is the first sign of the hatching process. Within twenty-four hours most of the eggs will have hatched. Allow the baby chicks to remain in the incubator until they are torally dry because baby quail can catch cold and die very easily.
After you are sure that they are dry and no more eggs will hatch, you can transfer the quail over to a ninetyfive degree heated box (a brooder works well for this). By now these little quail will need something to eat. The food you supply should contain a high nutritional content, and by adding a vitamin supplement to the water, you should cover all the nutritional needs of the baby chicks.
