Presented Sunday At R.C.E.S. The Rappahannock Woman’s Club will be presenting its annual fashion show this Sunday, March 24 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Rappahannock Elementary School. This years show will feature ladies fashions from Frank’s in Front Royal, attire for children from Jack and Jill in Culpeper and outfits for men will be provided by the Warren Quality Shop in Front Royal. Proceeds from the show will benefit the club’s annual scholarship and the Women’s Abuse Shelter in Culpeper. The Women’s Abuse Shelter is a volunteer, non-profit organization that has been in existence since 1980. The purpose of the shelter is to provide assistance to victims of domestic violence in Culpeper, Fauquier, Orange, Madison and Rappahannock counties. Advance tickets may be purchased from any member and are $2.50 for adults and $L50 for children, at the door prices will be $3 and $2.

‘Sixteen Candles’ This comedy with a fresh and authentic look at teenagers in a middle-class suburb will be shown this Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24 at 7:30 at the Gay Street Theatre in Washington. Molly Ringwald plays an unhappy 16 year old whose birthday has been forgotten by her parents and whose attempts at winning the attention of a handsome senior at the dance that evening only subject her to pursuit by a freshman. It’s rated PG.

Diet Watchers Class Cancelled The Washington Saturday morning Diet Watchers Class has been cancelled. For additional information on availability of other classes call Joyce Wharton at 987-8924.

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Class A heart saver CPR class (one-man rescue) will be held at Warren Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 25 at 7 p.m. This free class will be held in the conference room adjacent to the cafeteria. Anyone interested in attending the class should call 636-6101, extension 110 or 152. Woman s Club To Meet The Rappahannock Woman’s Club will meet on Tuesday, March 26 at 8 p.m. at the home of Bonnie Williams in Flint Hill. All members are urged to attend.

Karate Class To Begin The next eight week series of karate will begin March 28 and will end May 23 with April 4th a holiday. It will be the last series until next fall. For registration or information call The Child Care and Learning Center at 675-3237.

Diet Class To Begin A Diet Watchers class under the direction of Joyce Wharton will begin on Saturday, March 30 at 10 a.m. at the Amissville United Methodist Church on Route 211. For additional information call Ms. Wharton at 987-8924.

Christmas Tree Management Workshop A Christmas Tree Management Workshop will be held at the Flint Hill fire hall on Wednesday, March 27 at 7 p.m. Tom Nichols, a specialist from Virginia Tech, will present the program. Please pre-register by calling the Extension office at 675-3619. ■ \ '
