Prenatal Classes
Warren Memorial Hospital and the Warren County Cooperative Extension Service will be sponsoring prenatal classes on six consecutive Thursday evenings beginning March 21. Classes will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the confemece room at the hospital. Topics will include Changes During Pregnancy. Beauty Contest
The 1985 Miss Rappahannock County Beauty Contest will be held on Friday, April 12 for Rappahannock girls three years old to high school seniors at the Rappahannock County Elementary School.
Each candidate is asked to have a sponsor, and the sponsor fee is $10. Rehearsal and registration will be held on Monday, April 8. To preregister, or for more information, contact Kim Burke at 987-8570. The pageant is sponsored by the Sperryville Rescue Squad.
Softball League
Rappahannock County girls from age 13 to 15 are invited to join the Culpeper Girls Softball League. This will be the first year that registration will be open to Rappahannock residents.
Registration will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Moore Golf Complex in Inlet. For more information, call Dennis Mason at 825-8533.
Sue Slaughter Group To Meet
The Sue Slaughter Group of the Shiloh Association Woman’s Missionary Union will meet on Thursday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodville Baptist Church.
There will be slide presentations by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holschuh and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sims on their recent mission trip to St. Lucia in the Caribbean.
The Sue Slaughter Group consists of women of the Amissville, Chester Gap, Forest Grove, Mt. Lebanon, Reynolds Memorial, Washington and Woodville Baptist Churches. Members of these and other churches and friends are invited to attend.
