A Maryland trucker originally charged with involuntary manslaughter was found guilty of improper driving Monday in Fauquier General District Court and fined $100.
Ivan Ronald Demay, 34, of Glenn Bumie, Md., allegedly lost control of his truck Jan. 31 on Route 50, hit a parked car and killed Howard M. Ballenger Jr., 68, of Upperville.
