Mrs. Charles C. Burke was a visitor Wednesday and Thursday of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Burke in Front Royal. Mrs. Burke’s daughter, Mrs. Pauline Hershey of Bristol, Pa. was her guest on Sunday and Monday. Joining them for lunch on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Burke of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Burke of Warrenton.
Mr. and Mrs. John F. Huff, Jr. and Tony were dinner guests Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Tharp in Amissville.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Lockhart spent one day last week in Culpeper. Mr. Campbell and Mr. Lockhart attended the Culpeper Highway Department sale, while their wives went shopping. The Campbells and Lockharts had dinner that evening at Country Cooking.
Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lindstrom returned home last Thursday after spending a week with Mr. Lindstrom’s son, Bob Lindstrom at St. Petersburg, Florida.
John S. Weaver of Rosayln and J. Stant Weaver were visitors on Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda at Griffinsburg. On Friday, John S. Weaver, Mr. Weaver, the Penarandas and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hicks and Michelle of Culpeper had supper with Mr. Weaver’s sister, Mrs. Josephine Wood at Reva Park.
Freddy Butler of Boston was a visitor recently of J. Stant Weaver.
