to learn that Mrs. Valerie T. Clore, granddaughter of Mrs. George Butler, Sr. has been accepted as an affiliate with Coldwell Banker, Clore Real Estate firm of Culpeper, as of March 1. She is a 1978 graduate of James Madison University, where she received a degree in Early Childhood Education. Upon graduation she taught in Page County Schools and then returned to Culpeper and taught until June 1983. This past F ebruary she completed course work at National Institute of Real Estate and passed the State Realty Examination. She lives with her husband, Dick and two children on West Court, Culpeper. We wish her good luck in this new venture.
Wallace Hawkins had the misfortune to fall at his home and is now a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Miss Melanie Thornhill of Fairfax spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill and on Sunday visited her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill.
Mrs. George Butler was a luncheon guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Butler. On Monday Mrs. George Butler and Freddie visited Mr. Butler, Sr. in Culpeper Health Care Center.
