Spring Revival Services
Three nights spring revival services will be held at Promise Land Baptist Church beginning on Wednesday, April 3 through Friday, April 5 at 7:30 nightly. The Rev. Howard Frye, pastor of Nazareth Baptist Church in Boston will be the evangelist. The Rev. John R. Pendleton is pastor of Promise Land.
Concert Planned At The
Gay Street Theatre
On the evening of the Fodderstack race, the nationally renown band, “Trapezoid” will be giving a concert in the Gay Street Theatre at 8 p.m. Admission is $6 ($5 for RAAC members). Call 675-3193 to make reservations.
This event is sponsored by the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community, a non-profit, volunteer organization. “Trapezoid” is a quartet of four versatile vocalists and instrumentalists who draw from Irish and American folk tunes, swing, jazz, chamber music, African melodies and original compositions.
