Fodderstack 10-K
April 20
The Fodderstack 10-kilometer road race, benefiting the Rappahannock Recreational Authority, will begin at 10 a.nri. April 20.
Pre-registration is $6 (postmarked no later than April 13) and $7 on the day of the race. Registration will be held at Catalytic Dampers in Flint Hill.

Herndon’s Mascot
Pig Dies
Octuplets bom recently to Hemdon’s unofficial mascot, Elvira the pig, are orphans this week. Elvira, owned by Fred Martin of Martin’s Auto Body, died suddenly over the weekend.
Martin had kept Elvira at his shop, and she had become a familiar face to many Herdonites. Once, she left the shop to join in a Herndon parade, and her owner says people had stopped by just to see her.
