Mrs. Paul Miller entertained the Flint Hill Bridge Club on Monday evening at her home.

Prize winners were Mrs. Earl Edmonds, Mrs. Robert Eastham, Mrs. Thomas Eastham and Mrs. James Massie.

Others playing were Mrs. Richard Latham, Mrs. W.A. Moore, Mrs. Emory Russell and Mrs. Thomas Massie.

James Menefee and a group of friends spent Saturday in Washington, D.C. visiting places of interest.

Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker were in Washington, D.C. on Saturday to attend the 14th region competition of Sweet Adelines of America. Miss Joyce Walker is a member of the Potomac Harmony Chapter and they placed third in a group of 22. *

Mrs. Paul Miller spent from Thursday until Saturday with her sonin-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell and family at Madison Heights.

Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Lillard of Springfield spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson.

Mr. and Mrs. Grant Patton and daughters of Stephens City spent Sunday with Mrs. Patton’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard.

Mrs. Robert Nethers and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lillard motored to Williamsport, Md. on Sunday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Guessford there.

Frank Huff and Ernest Lillard were in Martinsburg, West Virginia on Monday.

Mrs. Warren Presgraves accompanied by Bemie Gilpin visited with Mr. Presgraves at the Shawnee Springs Nursing Home near Winchester last Wednesday.

Mrs. Charles Hickerson and Miss Kathy Hudson spent Wednesday and Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Odie Herndon and sons at Manassas.

Miss Sallie Lillard spent from Saturday until Monday with Mrs. Reba
