‘Scrooge’ On December 21 the Community Christmas Celebration will begin at 6 p.m. There will be singing, poetry, fellowship, and food, followed by a free movie. “Scrooge,” starring Albert Finney and Alec Guinness, will be playing at the Gay Street Theatre on December 21 This lavish and lively musical is a novel on''' treatment ot the tale of Scrooge and Tiny Tim. It is brought *o the Gay Street Theatre courtesy of the Rush River Company which invites you all to attend free of charge as their holiday guests.

Rappahannock County High

School Christmas concert The Rappahannock County High School band and chorus will present their annual Christmas concert on December 19, at 8:00 p.m. in the RCHS auditorium. A variety of Christmas music will be provided by both groups. A special performance of Handel’s “Hallelujah” chorus will be sung by the choir and the returning alumni.

Christmas dance at Madison The Old Rag Mountain Boys from Rappahannock and the Fhantoms of the Opry will be playing at a Christmas dance on Saturday, December 21, at 8 p.m. at the Madison American Legion Post. Prices are $3 per person or $5 a couple. Ride the fire truck Come out and ride the fire truck and see Santa Claus on December 22 at the Castleton Fire Department from 2 to 4 p.m. Pictures will be taken and candy and oranges will be given to the little ones.

CMH offers prenatal classes A series of six classes for expectant parents will begin January 8 and run through February 12 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. The Preparation for Parenthood Course is being taught in conjunction with the Culpeper County Health Department in the hospital conference room on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. To register, please call the Obstetric Unit at Culpeper Memorial Hospital, 825-2811, ext. 252, or from Orange, 672-4322.
