very happy because they were celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. One day one of the chipmunks met a squirrel and made very good friends with him. The mice did too. They shared the acorns, leaves, and chestnuts with the squirrel too. Next year at Christmas time they found a peculiarly wrapped present. It had an upside down “M” and a sidways “J” and a crooked “L.”
It turned out that the mice didn't know about a secret opening in one of their walls. While some of the mice children were scampering around they accidently hit the opening in the wall and sawr what was inside. They called their parents and asked what it was. They answered, “We don’t know!” So the mice asked the squirrel. He said that it was a mouse computer. So they typed in the upside down “M”, the sideways “J” and the crooked “L”. It came out to spell — “The true meaning of Christmas is in this box.”
