Gladys Burke
Mrs. Gladys Lenore Burke, of Amissville, died Wednesday, December 11, 1985, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Alexandria.
Survivors include four daughters, Constance Hardman, Penny Bywaters and Melissa Burke, all of Amissville and Patricia Edner of Casselberry, Florida; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Additional survivors include, one brother, Dean Allard, of Norris, South Dakota, and three sisters, Doris Henry, of Spearfish, South Dakota; Jeannette Siskum, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Beverly Hendrix, of Alexandria.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Moser Funeral Home, in Warrenton, and the Rev. Steven Parker officiated. Interment was in the National Memorial Park, Falls Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Moser Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangement.
James A. Jenkins
James Acrey Jenkins, 77, of Gordonsville, died Friday, December 13,1985, at Elder Care Gardens, Charlottesville.
Mr. Jenkins was a native of Rapphannock County. He was the retired owner of a fencing business.
