Rappahannock Neva Staff Writer
What follows is an interview in rhyme with Sylvie Golubic, of Washington, Virginia. STELLA DEAN RICHARDS: Who are you, Sylvie G.? SYLVIE GOLUBIC: It doesn’t matter. The interview is with Christmas, not with me. Let Christmas speak. SDR: Where is Christmas? CH: Christmas is busy, decorating its own living tree, which in reality is every you and me. SDR: What is Christmas? CH: Well, Christmas is love’s greatest activity upon the earth.
The living Tree of Life is blessing and sanctifying every birth. Mother, father change to son. The.. .silence...of the seasons has begun.
SDR: Is it all so quiet? CH: Yes, and only visible deep inside.
The dove of peace through the earth is soaring. Tis the season for the lion to stop his roaring! SDR: What is the Christmas seed? CH: God giving birth to every living thing! Seedlings change and it is spring! SDR: When do we see the change? CH: In my heart, it is not winter, summer, spring, nor fall.
Yet from the whole universe I hear love’s silent call.
Keep quiet, Stella Dean. Listen! ten!
Love itself is entering into the earth.
The mother of spirit is giving new birth. SDR: To all? CH: Yes. Love is fearless — because it has no enemies.
Yes, to all. Fear not when you hear the call.
The renewal of the mind is playing its greatest part.
It’s truly the season for universal love and peace to be born in every heart. Christmas is busy decorating its own Living Tree.
