Jimmy Lee and Sallie Wheeler have made great progress with this association., I will keep forging ahead along the lines they stalled and try to serve all the breeds in the organization.”
Helping Mr. Walther in his duties will be Beryl Herzog who was voted vice president. Robert Harris will be the treasurer and Sandy Gerald will be the secretary.
The board of directors will be made up of Kitty Beveridge, who will represent Zone One, Juliann Heron, who will represent Zone Two, Iris McNeil, who will represent Zone Three, Kenneth Wheeler for Zone Four, George Morrow for Zone Five, June Goodrum for Zone Six and Pam Baker to represent Zone Seven.
Breed representatives will be Patricia Stuart for the Arabians, Beryl Herzog for the Morgans, Marguerite Taylor for pony breeders, Sallie Wheeler for Saddle Roadsters, Robert H. Harris for Walking Horses and Priscilla Wekelo for western divisions.
At-large directors will be Sandy Gerald, Walter “Jimmy” Lee, Daniel Lenehan, Louisa Lenehan, Betty Oare, A. W. Rice and W. Russ Walther Jr.
