By the time the Christmas tree is up, It is almost time to go to sup. The glow of the light, Looked pretty at night. Santa had come that night, He came as soon as the moon shone bright. The children got dolls and candy canes, Puzzles, games and little trains. Santa looked down at what he had done;m And he knew he had, had fun. There was a girl who got a turquoise ring, And a boy who got a costume of a king. The children wanted to keep the magic all year, But they know they can’t, they shed a tear.
