ten around the edges. The mice called the chipmunks and they all jumped in the hole. Th°y came into a strange land. They h. ird something. It sounded like Cnil^tmaa bells and suddenly they saw sotththing! It looked like a sleigh with nine reindeer in front and a little old driver. It landed somewhere close to them. They walked up to the sleigh and saw it was Santa Claus. They asked Santa Claus why he was in this strange land. And he said, “Why this is my home! I was just on my way to your house but since you came here I will give you your presents now.” So they went bade through the hole that they came from and opened their presents in their world. Together they shared acorns, leaves, and u.estnuts and they were still happy because they were celebrating the true meaning of Christmas.
