The Sperryville Business Council will meet Monday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 p.m. at Nonna Gioia’s Restaurant, Rt. 211 west. ‘This is a very important meeting and all members and interested persons are urged to attend," said a council spokesperson.
Woman’s Club to meet
The Rappahannock Woman’s Club will meet Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Pat Giles in Washington. All members are urged to attend.
Fruit production meeting
The small fruit production and marketing meeting is scheduled for Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Southern Piedmont Agricultural Experiment Station in Blackstone. Ailey Troupe in Warrenton
The Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble will be performing at Fauquier High School on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children and $26 for sponsors (which includes reserved seating and a reception). Agriculture program planned
A program on sustainable agriculture for Virginia’s future will be held at Fredericksburg Sheraton conference center on Feb. 23. Registration is $11 which covers the conference costs and lunch. Forms are available at the Extension Office and must be returned by Feb. 13. The conference begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. with closing view displays.
