But two-thirds of the respondents said they would be willing to enter a cooperative arrangement with other farmers to produce large lots of products for volume buyers.
The farmers weren’t so sure, however, if they would be willing to pay for packing, cooling and storage operations and facilities. Slightly more than one-third of the respondents said they’d agree to finance those buildings.
Only 100 of the farmers said they wanted to commit all of their production to a cooperative.
