Notice is hereby given, that the Town Council for the Town of Washington, Virginia will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 18, 1987 at 8:00 PM in the Courthouse at Washington, Virginia, to consider the following:
1. The adoption of an Ordinance To Impose A Tax On Transient Room Rentals And On Meals Served In Restaurants In The Town Of Washington, Virginia. The amount of said tax is proposed to be two and one-half percent of the purchase price of said transient room rental or said meal.
