At fires, we spend many hours serving coffee, soda and sandwiches to the firefighters. For the past 10 years, we have bought, prepared and served food during the twoweekend fire school.
In addition, we support the .department by doing all the work at THEIR public dinners. We purchase the food, cook it, serve and clean up afterward with very little help from the department’s members. The banquet expense to the auxiliary has averaged about $1,000 per year. Last year, only six members of the department showed up.
As to allegations of financial discrepancies, our books are audited once each year by three members - as provided for in our bylaws.
