The terms of the School Board members from Jackson and Piedmont Districts will expire on June 30, and the county’s Board of Supervisors will accept nominations for those seats at a public hearing which will be held in June. According to state law, the hearing must precede the actual appoint_ ments by seven days, and the names of those appointed to the board must be considered at the hearing.
