vived by three daughters, Shirley W. Hunt of Culpeper, Barbara Parker and Gale W. Smith of Remington, two sons, Carl E. Welch and Max Ashby Welch of Remington, and 12 grandchildren.
She also leaves three brothers, Joseph J. Baldwin of Compton, Thomas R. Baldwin of Sperryville and Daniel M. Baldwin of Luray, five sisters, Virgie E. Semeltzer of Front Royal, Nellie M. Clatterbuck of Harrisonburg, Delphie Q. Baldwin of Culpeper, Bessie L. Baldwin of Washington and Nina E. Simmons of Luray, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted May 8 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. John Burke. Interment was at the Mt. Holly Baptist Church Cemetery near Remington.
Pallbearers were Russell B. Hunt, Tom Reese, Jimmy Ott, Eroest Kilby, John Henry Jones, Fohnny Cornwell, Earl Frazier and Max Foster.
