Farm fun day
The Culpeper-Madison-Rappahannock Farm Show Board will sponsor a Farm Fun Day for the community on Sunday, May 15, at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises, Route 29 south. — —:The
Fun Day opens at 1 p.m. and the main event, a draft horse pull, will begin at 2 p.m.
There will be plenty of fun events for the entire family - petting zoo, pony rides, hay rides, kids’ games and contests, flea market, bake sale, egg toss, bale throwing contest, and many other activities. The Culpeper FFA Chapter will have a steer weight guessing contest.
There will be a demonstration of antique horse drawn equipment - hay mower, rake and loader.
Another special event will be a mule high jump and other mule competitions.
Admission to the Farm Fun Day will be $4 for adults, $1 for children 6 to 12 years old and free under 6 years.
