rruciaim me woru services will be conducted in the Flint Hill, Sperryville and Willis Chapel United Methodist Churches beginning on Sunday, May 15, at 5 p.m. at the Flint Hill fire hall with a covered dish dinner to greet the guest speaker, the Rev. A. D. Goodson, former pastor of the Rappahannock Charge.
The Sperryville Church will host a covered dish dinner on Monday, May 16, at 6 p.m. at the fire hall followed by worship services at the church at 7:30 p.m.
The Willis Chapel Church will have a covered dish dinner on Tuesday, May 17, at 6 p.m. followed by worship at 7:30 p.m.
Services will be concluded on Wednesday evening at the Flint Hill Church.
Paul Louis Miller Jr. of Odenton, Md., spent the holiday weekend with his mother Mrs. Paul Miller.
Mrs. Eleanor Timmons of Leesburg spent the weekend with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Curtis. Jim Curtis of Leesburg joined them for Mother’s Day.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Vest of Virginia Beach spent Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. Christine Vest and Mrs. John S. Dodson at Sperryville. On Saturday they visited the Grady Vest family. Mrs. Vest’s son Rodney Vest of Woodville visited her Sunday. Michael Vest was a guest Satuday of his brother Rodney.
