SOME TIPS OR SELLERS

When selling your home, it’s a good idea to be ready for appointments to show the house on short notice. Homeseekers on tight schedules usually are genuinely interested in buying and are more likely to make an offer than someone who will adjust his schedule to your convenience.

After the showing, the buyer may phone you for information or for a committment that might be detrimental to your best interests. Rather than give any information, refer the buyer to your agent.

Never let anyone into your home without an appointment. A sign in your front yard or a multiple listing should not change anything. Because your home is for sale doesn t mean it’s wide open to the general public. If you list with us, we ll provide business cards. If someone wants to inspect it, give him a business card and have him make an appointment. This is the businesslike way to handle the selling process... the way our office prides itself in working.
