Throughout the month of May the public is invited to attend an exhibition of photographs by David Roehler, Cynthia Mahan and Elsa Rosenthal at the Middle Street Gallery.

The first two artists are from Rappahannock County while Ms. Rosenthal lives in Fauquier. All are members of the non-profit artists’ cooperative in Washington, Va.

Each photographer approaches the medium in a different style. Ms. Rosenthal, who has works in the Whitney Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, is showing color landscapes which she prints herself. “I’m most interested in light.
