WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Congressman D. French. Slaughter Jr. (7th-VA) has signed a Congressional resolution regarding the future security of the Panama Canal.
“The turmoil and mounting political tensions in Panama represent a threat to the security interests of the United States and its allies. The situation in Panama clearly threatens the ability of the United States to fulfill its security obligations in this hemisphere,” said Rep. Slaughter from his Washington, D.C., office.
