A graveside service was conducted May 9 at the Sperryville Cemetery by the Rev. William Harrison.
Active pallbearers were James P. Leake, Bill Fletcher, H.B. Wood, John Eubank, John McCoy and Alfus Cannon.

Pearl F. Jenkins
Pearl Fleecy Jenkins, 70, of Sperryville, died May 8 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Mrs. Jenkins is survived by one son George G. Jenkins of Manassas, two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Jenkins of Woodville and Mrs. Mildred Venegas of Manassas, three sisters, Annie Fincham of Bailey’s Cross Roads, Molly Jenkins of Berryville and Frances Atkins of Strasburg, 11 grandsons, George Jenkins Jr., Ronnie, Greg, Kenny, Mark, Mike, Shawn, William, James, Carroll and Jamie, two granddaughters, Doris Ann and Sharon, and 11 greatgrandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted May 10 at Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. Charles Clinedinst. Burial was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Mary F. Welch
Mary Frances Welch, 69, of Remington died May 5 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Mrs. Welch was a native of Page County, the daughter of the late George Burk and Lizzie Elizabeth Pullen Baldwin. She was a practical nurse and seamstress.
