He also agrred that contamination of a drinking water supply by fecal coliform poses a potential health hazard. “I don’t know why it would have been dropped, whether it was a community water system or a private system. Somebody from this office or the local Health Department office should have been monitoring the situation to make sure the water was safe for drinking, no matter who or how many were drinking it,” he concluded, adding that his investigation is continuing.
