Last month, Joan Brown Doares withdrew her proposal for a subdivision ordinance amendment to correct what she perceives as an intrinsic lack of fairness in administration of the county’s family subdivision ordinance exemption.
And at that June meeting of the Rappahannock Planning Commission, Mrs. Doares called on the commissioners to “pass an amendment of your own that will accomplish your goals and treat me and others fairly,” and she expressed confidence that any amendment endorsed by the advisory body “will correct the injustice that I have suffered.”
