Mrs. Jewel Magarity, a
teacher at RCHS, has returned home from Valley Forge, Pa. where she attended a threeweek seminar on the Preservation of the Principles of Freedom, conducted by Sanford University, Birmingham, Ala., in cooperation with the Freedom ^Foundation. Mrs. Magarity found the seminar stimulating and she hopes will be helpful in her teaching of Americanism.
William Roland Welch Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Welch of Flint Hill, was graduated June 15 from Monroe College, Middletown, with a diploma in business administration. While attending Monroe, he was active in basketball and softball. He plans to further his education in the fall. He is a graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
