Cloverbud camp planned
4-H Camp Cloverbud, to be held Aug. 5-6 at the 4-H Center near Front Royal, is designed to introduce 6, 7 and 8 year olds who have not been to camp before to the overnight camping experience. The cost is $25. Registration information can be obtained by contacting the Rappahannock Extension Office at 675-3619.
Crafters wanted for festival
The Sperryville Fire Department and Sperryville Rescue Squad will hold their first craft festival on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 20 and 21, at the Fire Department on Rt. 211 W. All crafters are welcome. To reserve booth space, or for more information, call 987-8170.

CulpeperFest’88
The Culpeper Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring CulpeperFest' *88 July 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises, where a variety of food, entertainment and exhibits reflecting local culture and lore will be displayed. In addition, local businesses, industries, civic groups and volunteer organizations will show their “Culpeper Pride” by showing off their growing tow’n. The Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises is two miles south of town on U.S. 29. Advance tickets only will be sold. Flint Hill carnival planned
Flint Hill firemen’s carnival will be held Aug. 3-6. Anyone wishing to participate in the parade Thursday, Aug. 4, at 6:30 p.m., is invited to contact Moe Walker at 675-3441, evenings.
