Emergency medical personnel in the five counties of Planning District 9 are invited to attend the annual dinner meeting of the Rappahannock- Rapidan Emergency Medical Services Council Tuesday, July 26, at Graves Mountain Lodge, Syria.
All EMS Council directors, members, rescue squad and hospital personnel, firefighters, local and state government officials, and any interested citizens are invited to attend the meeting.
The guest speaker will be Dr. David Schenk, a trauma surgeon at the University of Virginia Medical Center. During the evening, awards will be presented in several catego■ ries for outstanding contributions to emergency medical services in the five-county area.
