Summer reading
program continues
The Garfield Reading Club at the Rappahannock Library is continuing, to provide entertainment for about 60 children each week, according ta a member of the Library’s staff. -
A pet show will be held July 13 act 10 a.m. Each child is to bring a favorite teddy bear or other stuffed animal friend. There will be judges, ribbons, punch and cookies. “Come, have fun and show off your special friend,” the spokesman said.
Don’t forget to bring your 9 x 12. pictures of Garfield to be displayed in the library, she added.
Films to be shown at 2 p.m. on July 13 include Red Carpet, Spooky Hooky, Steadfast Tin Soldier, Dick Whittington and His Cat and Du- • rango Daredevil Strikes Again.
