Gregory Swaim
Gregory Swaim, the only son of Mrs. Virginia Raney of Flint Hill, died at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville on Tuesday, Sept. 26, a victim of cystic fibrosis. He was 26 years old.
A native of Huntington, N. Y., Mr. Swaim was graduated from Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal and from the University of Virginia, where he received his degree in psychology. Following his graduation he served as a teaching associate in the psychology department.
He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. The Very Rev. Jennings Hobson III will officiate.- ciate.Mr.
Swaim is survived by his mother, his stepfather Charles Raney, and two brothers. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, friends may wish to send contributions in his name to the Cystic Fibrosis Fund, Department of Pediatrics, P.O. Box 501, University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, Va.
