Washington County, Maryland. The Hagerstown Almanack will sponsor the annual Woolly Bear Contest for the seventh consecutive year.
The contest begins Oct. 1 and the deadline for entries will be Oct. 31. The two categories once again will be the “Cutest and Cuddliest” and the “Biggest and Woolliest”. The person entering each winning candidate will receive $100 and the runners up in each category will receive with our compliments six copies of the 1990 Almanack.
All entries should be sent or taken to Woolly Bear Headquarters which is located at 111 West Washington Street, Hagerstown.
