Dinah Pehrson-Day, who directed that last joint production of the Rappahannock Players and the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community, is also a stage veteran, having performed in New York after her graduation from that city’s American Academy of Acting.
Mitch Hostetter, whose been involved in every Rappahannock production since the organization of the county’s community theatre, is making her premiere as a director with The Lion in Winter.
Waldron and Sam O’Connor, never far away from any theatrical effort, are designing sets and costumes. The play is produced jointly by the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community and the Rappahannock Players.
Performances for The Lion in Winter are set for Friday and Saturday nights, Sept. 29 and 30 and Oct. 6 and 7, at 8 p.m. Tickets at $7.50 are available at the RAAC office and Mountainside Market in Washington and at the door of Washington’s Gay Street Theatre.
