Return Census forms
Local Census Bureau enumerators have begun the time-consuming task of visiting homes which did not return their Census forms. If regional figuresfio^d, only about two-thirds of county residents returned the forms, meaning that 2,000 people remain uncounted. That
state and federal aid for each person — a total of $80,000 over the 10-year life of the Census data. People who did not receive a Census form should call, toll-free, (800) 999-1990 to request a form.
Artmobile visits RCES
Th Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is sending its traveling exposition, the Artmobile, to Rappahannock County Elementary School this week. Sponsored by the school's art department, the exhibition is titled "Fragments,” and tells how fragments of the past and fragments of the present have been melded by the art world through history. The exhibit will be open to the public on Monday, May 21 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. To arrange a group tour, contact art teacher Linda Owings at RCES (987-8259).
