Rinse cut rhubarb and put in greased 8-inch square baking dish. Cream margarine and 3/4 c. sugar in mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add milk, flour, baking powder, egg and salt. Mix well. Pour over rhubarb. Mix 1 cup sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch in bowl. Sprinkle over top. Pour 1 cup boiling water over all. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 8.
