Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Stovall of Sarasota, Florida spent last week with their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Walt Longyear, Casey and Amy at Fairlea.

Mrs. Marilyn M. Bailey entertained with a 50th wedding anniversary dinner party on Tuesday evening May 8th for her cousin Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Aylor of Madison. Guests were their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Roy D. Aylor of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Bailey of Strasburg, Miss Stacy Moore of Amissville, Mr, and Mrs. John Norman, Eric and Lesley, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Bailey and Johnathan Bailey. The John Henry Aylors were also Tuesday overnight guests in the Bailey home, 50 years ago the Aylors spent their wedding night in the same house which was at that time the home of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Merrill.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons had Mother’s Day dinner Sunday at The Wooden Lamb near Luray.

Miss Amanda Brown was a Friday overnight guest of Miss Lisa Hill in Flint Hill.

Mr. and Mrs. John Clark Jr., Amanda and Stacey were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. John Clark in Sperryville, Mrs. Dorothy Ralls and son Steve and Mrs. Alice Beahm and daughter Carolyn.
