Miss Rappahannock contest
The annual Miss Rappahannock beauty pageant will be held Saturday, May 26 at 7 p.m. in the RCHS auditorium. There will be seven categories this year, including mother/daughter and Little Mr. Rappahannock for boys ages two to six. Contestants must be county residents, and between the ages of two and 19. A rehearsal will be held on Friday, May 25 at 6 p.m. at the high school. All contestants must attend. Entry forms are available at both the - elementary and high schools, or by calling Nancy Leake (987-8971, or 675-3739 days). All proceeds will benefit the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
