Kids fish for trout
Trout Unlimited's 11th annual free trout fishing party for children will be held on opening day of the Virginia season, 9 a.m. March 16 on the Rose River in Madison County along Route 670 between Criglersville and Syria.
Only boys and girls 12 and under may fish there that day. There's no charge and no license is needed. i, Adults may accompany but may not fish.

Quilting Club organizes
As a result of the recently-completed quilting classes taught by Katherine Riley, the Extension homemaker clubs are organizing a Quilting Club that will meet ; twice a montty. - f
Meetings will be held from 9 a.m. to noon the secdnd and fourth Tuesdays of the month. i
