ter comes froth a newspaper family. His father, Lou Sr., was a sports re* porter for the Morning Sun for 43 years. Lou Jr. majored in English at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. He has won awards from the Virginia Press Association for writing, photography and design.
“From time to time these changes are made in the newspaper business, both for the individual growth of an editor and for the papers themselves,” said Mr. Johnson. “This is a move that will benefit both editors and both papers.”
Foster named
to Dean's List
Kristi Maria Foster, a student at Old Dominion University in Roa-* noke was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester. Miss Foster obtained a 3.7 grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
She will also be inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society on March 21. Miss Foster is rroyoring in Human Resource Management with a degree in Labor Relations.
She is the daughter of Mr; and Mrs. Guy Foster Jr. of Sperryville and a 1983 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
