‘It’s not
what you
print’
To the Editor:
Most newspapers have to go to great lengths to print a thought provoking publication. But the Rappahannock News takes the opposite approach. It is not what you print, but what you don’t print, that raises questions.
Why, for instance, did you fail to inform Rappahannock residents of the locations of voting places before the November election? The most interesting answer came from an observer at the W.V.F.D. polling place: Perhaps the “newspaper” didn’t want the people to know where to vote!
One month ago our representatives in the U.S. Congress, Rep. Slaughter and senators Warner and Robb, voted to support President Bush in an inevitable move towards the war in the Middle East.
