David Norman
David Abraham Norman, 53, of Woodville died Tuesday, Feb. 26 at his residence.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Milton D. and Lizzie Heflin Norman.
Mr. Norman was a retired employee of the Virginia Department of Highways. He was a member of Five Forks Regular Baptist Church and Moose Lodge No. 829.
He is survived by his wife, Sadie Rosenberry Norman; two sons, Timothy Norman of Sperryville and Jimmy Norman of Woodville; two daughters,\Yvonpe-Jbnes of Front Royal and Bonnie Parker of Amissville; three grandchildren; three brothers, Daniel Norman of Woodville, Ennis “Nick” Norman of Castleton and John Norman of Washington and three sisters, Flossie Wharton and Rena Burke, both of Woodville and Mary Wiley of Amissville.
A funeral was held on Saturday, March 2 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper, the Rev. Wilfred Deppen officiating, assisted by the Rev. John K. Burke Jr., with interment in Woodville cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles E. Corder Jr., Mike Brown, Mike Cave, Richard Burke, Kenny Norman, Kinsey M. Wharton, John Marshall Clark and Albert Wharton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Rapidan or a local rescue squad.
John Hash
Mr. John Wendell Hash, 86, of Baptist Retirement Home, Culpeper died Wednesday, Feb. 27 in Culpeper.
Mr. Hash was bom July 15, 1904 in Woolwine, Va. and lived in Waynesboro, Camden, S.C. and Culpeper.
