When the BZA members were ready to vote, Mr. Swindler said he could not make the finding that “The proposed use will not cause an undue impact on the scenic qualities of the immediate area.”
Chairman Butch Zindel said he could, and Wakefield District representative Jennifer Matthews said she could “with reservation,” so the special use permit was approved.
Earlier the BZA had approved a special use permit for the Assemblies of God church to build a new church on a two-acre site just west of Route 622, the Gid Brown Hollow Road.
