*** The Rappahannock Lions hosted this year’s winners of the Bland Music Contest during the Feb. 27 dinner meeting at the School House Restaurant.
The five young performers, all students at RCHS, were awarded official certificates of participation by Bland Music chairman, Lion Paul Nichols, and each was given a government bond as first, second and third prizes.
