Festival applications due

Oldway Craft Village of Sperryville is now accepting applications for the fourth annual Oldway Demonstrating Craft Festival in Memorial Day weekend.

Past attendance has been 2,0005,000, with 50 artists showing. Demonstrations are encouraged but not required.

Potter at Trading Post

Lou Ann Read, an American potter, will beat the Trading Post, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 9.

Ms.,Read teaches design and makes traditional hand-built earthenware Acoma pottery.

The Trading Post is on U.S. 211, just west of Washi ngton.

'Up with People' in Culpeper

"Up with People," the singing and performing group with a national following, will be performing at Culpeper High School at 7:30 p.m. March 13-14.

Tickets are $7.50 for adultes and $6.50 for children.

Visual artist in 'Exchange'

Ruth Blackwell Rogers, a visual artist and colorist, will appear in the third of four Ki Theatre-sponsored "Exchanges" at 7:30 p.m. March 10 in the Washington Town Hall.
