County supervisors got more bad news on tfie coming budget at their regular monthly meeting Monday when County Administrator John McCarthy told them the constitutional officers might be ordered by the state to cut their budgets. , - ;
“The state has not been very forthcoming with their budgets, and we’re hearing some ominous noises* he said, warning the supervisors that in the coming weeks “The constitutional officers may approach the board to make up for the cuts.”
He also noted that the treasurer’s report showed revenues from all sources down from the predictions on which the current budget was based.
