All-you-can-eat breakfast

Have breakfast with the Easter Bunny, 7 a.m.-ll a.m. on Saturday, March 30 at the Washington Fire Department. The cost is $3 fpr children and $6 for adults.

The meal will be all-you-can-eat of sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, fried apples, milk, coffee, tea, juice and hot chocolate. There will also be a bake sale and a free children’s Easter egg hunt at 11:30 a.m.

Youth day at Hopewell

Hopewell Baptist youth will have their annual youth day on Sunday, March 24 at 3 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville. Nils A. Aylor will be the speaker.

Grief classes held

Working Through Grief classes for bereaved individuals will be held for eight consecutive weeks beginning 7 p.m.-8 p.m. April 4 at the United Methodist Church of Madison on Main Street in Madison.

Gun tickets available

The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring a gun lottery, one gun a week for 52 weeks, starting April 4. Ticket price is $30 and is good for one year. For more information call 635-4673 or 636-3279 anytime or 635-5472 after 5 p.m.

Services Board meets

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board will hold its regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 in the library of the Lord Culpeper Building, 401 South Main St., Culpeper. Grand opening

The Blue Ridge Arts Council, Inc., will officially open its new office and gallery located in the Signet Bank building at 305 E. Main Street, Front Royal from 3p.m.-5p.m. March 17. For this grand opening, several events have been planned. The annual art exhibit will kick off the gallery use.

This fourth year of exhibiting will be highlighted by the addition of judges for the exhibit. Rick Hart, noted sculptor and Arnold Holeywell, former art and design director for Time-Life Books, will serve as judges. Live entertainment will be featured.
